MySight Notts Sight Loss Awareness Training

The Carers Hub are collaborating with MySight Notts to offer a free training session to carers to raise awareness of sight loss and visual impairments as part of our health and wellbeing programme.
The session will support and educate carers who are looking after someone who is visually impaired and will include information on:
- Barriers to independence
- Common eye conditions
- The emotional impact of sight loss
- Communication skills
- Practical guiding techniques
- The use of assistive technologies
