Dementia Action Week – Carers Corner

This peer support group brings together:
- Bereaved carers whose partners had dementia
- Carers whose partners are currently in full time care
- Carers currently caring for someone with dementia or similar progressive cognitive condition who are otherwise occupied while they attend Carers’ Corner
It is for people of any age and place of residence who can get to the event. Refreshments are available at each session. There is no set programme for any session; Carers come to chat, share stories and support each other as needed. It has been great to see friendships blossom and to hear of carers taking part in activities together outside of the group.
