“Eastwood & Beyond” – A Look Back In Tim

Come and join Inspire as they celebrate the area’s local history at their Heritage Day. Stand will include:

• Granville Horton of Beauvale Cycling will be bringing an exhibition including many of his cycles (including the 1970’s classic Raleigh Chopper).
• An exhibition of local photographs by Anthony Kirby.
• Richard Harvey with Kimberley Brewery memorabilia.
• The D H Lawrence Museum – artefacts and local history publications.
• Eastwood U3A Local History group, Nuthall History Society, Friends of Bennerley Viaduct, Harry Burton, Brian Fretwell of Chapter & Verse, local Author Jo Greaves, Broxtowe Economic Development team with their historical ‘Eastwood Ale Trail’ launch!
• Inspire’s Heritage team will be there with resources from the archives and will also be inviting people to record their memories for future generations.
