DESCRIPTION:Weekly information stalls at the hub to find out more about all the activities running over the 6 weeks. There will be a chance to try out Lime e-bikes\, learn about Nottingham’s travel planning app\, Ride\, and pick up Nottingham cycle maps. Lime e-bike tryouts are open to adults aged 18+. \nAt this event\, bike security marking will be offered by Nottinghamshire Police. Bike security marking can help protect your bike by registering it and making it easier to track down and recover if stolen. \nA Dr Bike clinic will also be running at the hub at the same time\, so bring your bike along too. The RideWise mechanics can carry out minor repairs and safety checks on both adult and children’s bikes. \nDr Bike appointments can be booked in advance to guarantee a slot. They’ll also do our best to accommodate drop-ins on the day\, but you may need to wait\, depending on availability. \nBook your place for the Dr Bike here: \n\n1pm to 2pm session\n2pm to 3pm session\n3pm to 4pm session

The Alzheimers Society have developed a Community Peer Hub which meets monthly and gives you the opportunity to obtain guidance and resources from local services as well as meet and talk to others who are living with or caring for dementia. \nA variety of services will be on hand to discuss the support they can offer you including social services\, memory group representatives\, Talking Therapies\, benefit services and social prescribers. Whilst you may not need anything now it will enable you to understand what is available in the future as and when needed.

DESCRIPTION:Many unpaid carers help manage the finances\, health and welfare of the person they are supporting. However\, without legal authority to make decisions\, they may face barriers in managing their loved ones’ affairs. \nWe also know that people with caring responsibilities may wish to plan ahead for a time when they can no longer decide for themselves – but aren’t sure how to get started. \nThis session is designed to give carers the information they need. The session will be covering \n\nWhat LPAs are and how to make one\nWhen a deputyship order may be required and how to apply\nHow much it costs to make an LPA or apply for a deputyship order\nHow to make decisions an attorney or deputy.\n\nThe presenters will also be busting some common myths and answering questions during a Q&A.
